Info&Booking Camping

❓FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Where can I find the program?

The updated program will be published on the dedicated Telegram group. To access the group you need to register online for the event here

  • How do I book a campsite?

To book a tent, camper or mobile home pitch (there are different types and prices) visit the campsite website.

  • Can I only attend one day?

Of course, it is possible to participate even for just a day or two. It will always be necessary to register online to pay the participation fee and then pay the cost of daily/overnight access directly to the Campsite.

  • Can I stay outside the campsite?

Of course, you can choose to stay elsewhere (perhaps you live in the area) and still participate in the event. It will be important to pay the family participation fee of 25 euros online (with Telegram group access) and then pay the daily entry fee to the Campsite.

  • Where do I find the camping costs?

On the Camping website at this link:

    https://badiaccia.com/

  • Are dogs allowed?

Sure. Dogs and other small pets are welcome at the campsite, please report their presence when booking.

  • Until when is it possible to book for the S-Cool event?

At the moment we do not have capacity limits, but indicatively bookings start now and end on September 1st to allow us to know the number of participants in time.

  • What happens if I cancel my camping reservation?

The campsite reserves the right to request a deposit for booking stays in a mobile home and/or particularly long periods. This deposit may not be refunded in case of cancellation, but please contact the campsite directly with this question.

  • I have never done Homeschooling, can I come to the event?

Certainly, this event was designed precisely to allow those who are new and need to orient themselves in this educational reality, to be able to ask all the necessary questions, clarify doubts and create bonds of friendship with those who have been homeschoolers for a longer time.

  • Can I participate in the Children's Market?

On Sunday morning from around 8.30 am the participants of the S-Cool event will be able to set up a small stall as they wish (a simple cloth on the ground, or a table or bench that you will bring for the occasion) where they can sell their books, toys and used objects , or handicrafts produced by children (bracelets, bookmarks, juices, cakes...).

  • I have children in high school, is the meeting suitable for them too?

Of course, we have quite a few teenage boys who have been coming to the meeting for years. Among the older ones there are 17 and 18 year olds. Homeschooling is a possible option up until college.

  • I need to convince my husband/wife to try a year of Homeschooling, is this the right event to do it?

Sure. For 10 years, the S-COOL event has allowed families "new to homeschooling" to meet those who have been practicing it for 5, 10 or even 15 years or more and to benefit from their experience. It is certainly an event suitable for showing your "skeptical" partner the reality of families who make this choice and seeing the results obtained up close.

  • I'm a teacher, I don't do Homeschooling with my family, can I come?

The S-Cool meeting is an event dedicated to families who practice (or wish to practice in the future) parental education and is not an initiative to obtain work.

  • What should I bring to the S-Cool Event?

It would be ideal to bring a lot of positive energy, curiosity and desire to share. Stop to chat with other families and actively participate in the proposed events. If you have musical instruments, bring them for a moment of sharing. Try to immerse yourself 100% in the informal and human atmosphere that will be created among those present.

  • Is there a restaurant on the campsite?

Sure. The campsite has a mini-market, a bar and a restaurant offering food suitable for vegetarians, vegans and celiacs.

  • Do you need a swimming cap?

Yes, you must wear a swimming cap to access the pool.
